Standard Terms & Conditions :

Northwest Water Services LLC requires written approval of all estimates prior to scheduling work. This policy applies to all payment types, including cash. Work cannot begin without signed authorization.

Standard Terms & Conditions :

1) Legally Binding Agreement: By signing a contract with Northwest Water Services LLC, you are signing a legally binding contract for work to be completed at an agreed upon price. In the event that you break this contract, all deposits made to the company shall be surrendered as damages.

2) Product Warranties: All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Northwest Water Services LLC warranties gutter cleanings for 6 months, roof washes, We also have a 12-month workmanship guarantee on gutter guard installs, painting projects and concrete sealing. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, Northwest Water Services LLC should be notified immediately and we will address the concern as soon as possible. 

3) Water Usage: By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Northwest Water Services LLC the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.

4) Electrical Usage: By signing this agreement, you agree to Northwest Water Services LLC,the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior source is required it will be at an additional charge.

5) Color and Tone Concerns: The properties and species of wood age and weather can greatly affect the resulting color or tone of the stain. Note: Variances may occur on individual boards as well as the total project, as densities and other characteristics vary across and throughout the wood. Northwest Water Services LLC and its associates attempt to represent final finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you an idea of the overall color or tone you must expect some variance in the overall finish.

6) Courtesy: While Northwest Water Services LLC is on location and performing work on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. This is for your safety as well as our own.

7) Payments: Payments to Northwest Water Services LLC are due as per the contract schedule and are to be paid by check, debit/credit, ACH payment or cash. All balances are ALWAYS due upon completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing on our contract. Late charges will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection costs incurred by Northwest Water Services LLC related to the collection process of outstanding balances.

8) Scheduling: Scheduling in a business which productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes.

9) Removal & Replacement of Deck Contents: Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items from the deck, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.

10) Damages: Northwest Water Services LLC is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, uncovered electrical outlets, loose or improperly installed gutters and leaders and improper caulking. In every aluminum siding case and in some cases with vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the color or cause fading. Power washing, which entails removal of chalky, gritty or failing surface materials may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminum to stand out. Northwest Water Services LLC will not be responsible for such conditions. Northwest Water Services LLC will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during the cleaning process.

11) Stains: Some stains cannot be removed by power washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting the project. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all.

12) Watertight: Northwest Water Services LLC expects your property to be in good repair and weather tight. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical service including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weather tight. Northwest Water Services LLC is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance or repair of electrical related items or doors or windows. Northwest Water Services LLC cannot guarantee removal of artillery fungus from exterior house surfaces.

13) Window Spotting & Exclusions : Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is NOT included unless provided for in the estimate. Hard water and tree sap removal is not included in a standalone window washing. This service is an optional add-on. 

14) Gutter Cleaning: Standard gutter cleaning does NOT include the removal and reinstallation of gutter guards. Due to the labor-intensive and time-consuming nature of removing, handling, and properly reinstalling gutter guards, this service is subject to an additional labor charge. Existing gutter guards will be cleaned in place, as appropriate, using methods such as sweeping, leaf blowing, soft washing, or pressure washing to remove accumulated debris, pollen, algae films and organic buildup. This helps maintain proper water flow through the gutter system and reduces the potential for water spillover caused by restricted drainage.

15) Concrete: The appearance of concrete depends on a number of factors most linked to when the concrete was initially poured and cured. When concrete with dirt, mold, mildew, algae and other pollutants and stains is cleaned, the concrete will then reveal any and all imperfections that the pollutants and stains have covered up. The customer understands that not all concrete will look the same even on the same driveway, patio, sidewalk or concrete slab.

16) Roofs with severe moss conditions - Due to severity, manual removal is required prior to treatment. Some visual staining may remain temporarily. Dead moss will release naturally over 2–8 weeks. 100% moss kill is expected, but cosmetic perfection is not immediate. Landscaping will be protected, however minor stress may occur. Weather-dependent scheduling.

Deposits :

Northwest Water Services LLC requires a deposit for standard exterior cleaning services with a total project value of $1,000.00 or greater. This includes, but is not limited to, pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, and surface cleaning services.

Deposits are also required for projects involving specialty coating materials, paint & supplies and gutter guards, including but not limited to:

•Decorative or protective concrete sealants

•Concrete paint or specialty coatings

•Other custom-order coating materials

•Paint & Supplies/Materials

•LeafBlaster Pro Micro-mesh Gutter Guards

For these services, a 50% deposit is required prior to scheduling and material procurement. This deposit allows Northwest Water Services to purchase materials directly from our manufacturers and distributors (typically Trident Protects, Sherwin-Williams and LeafBlaster Pro) and reserve your project date.

The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits are applied directly toward the total project cost.

Non-Refundable Materials Clause

Once materials are ordered, tinted, or allocated specifically for a project, the portion of the deposit covering material costs becomes non-refundable, as these products are often custom-blended, tinted, or non-returnable.

If a project is canceled after materials have been ordered, the client remains responsible for the full cost of materials purchased on their behalf.

The remaining project balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Sealing & Decorative Restoration Warranty Terms :

All sealing applications are performed using professional-grade premium silane/siloxane & acrylic systems designed for Western Washington’s climate. Due to environmental exposure, organic growth, and moisture migration common to this region, the following conditions are not covered under warranty:

• Efflorescence or moisture whitening

• Pre-existing scaling or aggregate loosening

• Organic regrowth (moss, algae, lichen)

• Freeze-thaw movement or cracking

• Surface wear from vehicular traffic or studded tires

Sealer longevity in Western Washington is typically 24–36 months depending on exposure and maintenance. High-solids (70%), latex enhanced sealers (such as Pavemade Asphalt Emulsion Sealer) have a life expectancy of 3 to 5 years under normal conditions. Penetrating sealers (Trident Sea Wall & Break Wall) longevity is typically 5-8 years.

This service includes workmanship coverage for 12 months against application failure (peeling due to improper prep or bonding).
